Laura Galbreath, MPP
Chief Strategy Officer
Laura Galbreath believes there’s nothing better than when teams achieve those “ah ha” moments that lead to successful organizational changes, stakeholder buy-in, and improved patient and community outcomes. As a Senior Consultant of Healthcare Innovation with INCITE Consulting Solutions, Laura works with clients to achieve those “ah-ha” moments.
Her experience and skill at leading teams through healthcare policy changes, implementing new strategic initiatives, and building connections has informed her 15+ year career in behavioral health. Prior to her work with INCITE Consulting Solutions, Laura served as Vice President and Director of the SAMHSA-HRSA Center for Integrated Health Solutions at the National Council for Behavioral Health. She led the development of the first national center dedicated to integrated primary and behavioral health care. Through her leadership, the Center developed practical tools and provided individualized consultation; making it easier for busy safety-net organizations to make sense of policy changes and implement the changes needed for integrated care to work. At the same time, she ensured that lessons learned from on-the-ground implementation informed federal regulatory and policy changes.
Laura received a Master in Public Policy from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Central Florida. Outside of work, Laura is an avid traveler who is still working on the art of traveling with only a carry-on suitcase. She’s a life-long learner and is currently studying Russian so she can communicate with extended family members.
